Diana Lysinger

Biographical Information
Diana is a doctoral student and teaching assistant in the German &
Russian Department at UC Davis. She received her B.A. degree in German
Philology and Pedagogy from the Pedagogical University Vilnius (Lithuania)
and she has been studying and working at UC Davis since she moved here
in 2002. She enjoys teaching beginning to advanced Russian and German
language courses at UC Davis.
Research Interests
- 19th and 20th century Russian and German Literature
- Phonetics
- Second Language Acquisition (in which she pursued a Designated Emphasis in 2005)
Current Projects
Diana is currently writing her dissertation on teaching approaches to
the Russian and German case systems, based on the Cognitive Grammar
Theory.
